Famous for his long blond locks, Hibbard will be braving the clippers LIVE this Friday 30th April AT 3:30pm. Allowing all of his hair to be chopped off for charity encouraging donations to UK Mental Health efforts across the UK. The confirmed charities the fundraising efforts will be put towards are Samaritans and Young Minds.

Tune in on the People’s Captain Facebook page (link below) at 3:30pm today, Friday 30th April to see the heroic efforts as this lock-loving rugby pro bares all.

The event will be live streamed on People’s Captain Instagram and Facebook page.

    About People’s Captain

The People’s Captain is a new beer range and associated charity founded by professional rugby player Greg Bateman, with proceeds going to support mental health initiatives across the UK.

In 2019, Greg addressed his personal battle with depression on social media, and candidly opened up about his mental health struggles. His openness surrounding what is a fairly taboo subject in rugby has opened the door for others to engage in conversation, and seek help for mental health issues.

The charity is seeking to raise £1million to help boost Britain’s mental health as well as provide brave and brilliant initiatives for those that need it most.

Join Richard Hibbard, Greg Batemen, and their clippers. People are being encouraged to donate to the cause on the link below if you are able to.
