It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Ystrad Mynach Town Centre as it prepares for the Winter Food and Craft Market.

As the second market in a series of Winter Food and Craft Markets being held throughout the Borough, Ystrad Mynach Town Centre is set to be transformed into a Winter Wonderland with approximately 25 food and craft stalls.  There will be French macarons, produce from Pembrokeshire Chilli Farm, chutneys and preserves, children’s books, doggy treats, ale, cider and a selection of spirits on sale, to name just some of the delicious and delightful products available!

The festive, family day out will also include a selection of children’s funfair rides along with a jam-packed programme of top-quality street theatre entertainment.

Taking place on Saturday 27th November, the Market provides the perfect opportunity for visitors to shop locally this Christmas. Ystrad Mynach Town Centre has a selection of independent stores filled with quirky gift ideas; there are also a number of high street stores, cafes and bars.

Cllr. Eluned Stenner, Cabinet Member for Performance, Economy and Enterprise said “We are very excited to be bringing Winter Food and Craft Markets to four of the town centres in Caerphilly County Borough. The Markets offer visitors the perfect opportunity to choose local and support their high street this Christmas.”

The event will be located on Bedwlwyn Road and Oakfield Street where there will be a road closure in place from 9pm on Friday 26th November until 9pm on Saturday 27th November.

The events will take place between 9am and 5pm on:
Saturday 27th November – Bedwlwyn Road and Oakfield Street, Ystrad Mynach
Saturday 4th December – Cardiff Road, Twyn Road, Castle and Twyn Car Park, Caerphilly
Saturday 11th December – High Street, Blackwood
