Motorists are being warned to allow extra time for their journeys this morning as delays are affecting key routes across south Wales.
Traffic Wales has reported congestion on the A470 southbound between Pontypridd and Coryton, with queues building during the Monday rush hour.
Further disruption is also being seen on the M4 eastbound between junction 24 Coldra and junction 23A Magor, where traffic is moving more slowly than usual.
Drivers heading towards Cardiff and Newport are being urged to plan ahead, consider alternative routes where possible and leave additional time to reach their destinations.
Traffic conditions are expected to remain busy throughout the morning peak, with commuters advised to keep up to date with the latest travel information before setting off.
