Aberdare Festival is back over the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend, with lots of fun and attractions for all the family.

The Council will once again be hosting Aberdare Festival 2018 in the grounds of picturesque Aberdare Park on Saturday, May 26.Gates open from 11am until 5pm.

There will be live music by local performers throughout the day from a dedicated outdoor music stage, starting from 12pm, offering something for all musical tastes.

There will be lots to see and do at Aberdare Festival this year. As well as live music throughout the day, other attractions will include a family fun fair, offering plenty of thrills and spills for all ages, farm animals, not forgetting of course the boating lake and pedalo boats.

There will also be local craft stalls and food vendors in the park, offering plenty of handmade gifts and ideas and hot and cold refreshments so families can make a day of it.

Are you interested in having a pitch at Aberdare Festival 2018 or being a part of the day as a food vendor? Email [email protected] for further information.

Cllr Maureen Webber, Deputy Leader of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council, said: “Over the years, Aberdare Festival has firmly established itself as a popular family event, one of many staged across our County Borough throughout the year.

“Events such as these continue to attract thousands of visitors and help boost the local economy by bringing a large influx of people into our town centres and surrounding areas.

“I am sure Aberdare Festival 2018 will be as popular as ever and we look forward to welcoming everyone to Aberdare Park.”
