A man from Neath Port Talbot has been jailed after he attacked a father and son who were unknown to him in their own front garden. 34-year-old Robin Griffiths, from Resolven, left the adult victim with an orbital bone fracture and restricted eye movement as a result of the attack, and requiring an operation. Griffiths then struck the victim’s son as he tried to intervene in the assault. Griffiths pleaded guilty to assault by beating and wounding/inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent in September. He has been sentenced to 20 months in prison. A man from Neath Port Talbot has been jailed after being found guilty of the rape and sexual assault of three child victims. 32-year-old Joshua Jones, from Cwmavon, pleaded not guilty to all charges put to him. After trial at Swansea Crown Court, Jones was found guilty of rape of a boy under 13, five counts of assault of a boy under 13 by touching, and causing a boy under 13 to engage in sexual activity.
