A disqualified driver who fled from police despite being arrested weeks earlier for dangerous driving has been jailed. Thomas Williams, 38, of Cristionydd, Penycae, Wrexham admitted a string of driving offences including two counts of dangerous driving and driving whilst disqualified. He also admitted possession of Class A and B drugs. At Mold Crown Court last week, he was sentenced to two and a half years in prison. A man from Swansea has been jailed after he was found guilty of the murder of his own brother. The body of 48-year-old Martin Steel was found at an address on Hill View Crescent, Clase, shortly after 10:30am on Saturday May 20 2023. 41-year-old Darren Steel, from Morriston, pleaded not guilty to Martin’s murder and manslaughter in February 2024. Steel was found guilty by a jury on February 12.
