A petition to save a North Wales disability charity has now been backed by more than 1,000 people. The petition calls on the Welsh Government to step in to come to rescue of  Anheddau which supports 140 severely disabled people from across Gwynedd, Conwy, Anglesey, Denbighshire and Wrexham. A historic garden feature by legendary 18th century landscape designer Capability Brown is being restored by a talented young dry stone waller from North Wales. A 41-year-old man has been jailed for domestic violence offences against his daughter. Ricky Richardson of Denbigh Road, Mold, previously admitted controlling and coercive behaviour, eight counts of assault, and a charge of threats to kill. He appeared before Mold Crown Court last week, Thursday October 9, where he was sentenced to three years in prison. Richardson would instil fear of violence at home, physically assault his daughter for no reason and threaten to take his own life, if he did not get his own way. South Wales Police is carrying out a forensic review of the murders of Diane Jones, 21, two-year-old Shauna Hibberd, and 13-month-old Sarah-Jane Hibberd in 1995. Thirty years on from the murders, the Major Crime Review Unit at South Wales Police is hoping that advances in forensic technology will provide the breakthrough needed to identify who was responsible.
