The permanent Thomas exhibition and learning facility based in the centre has been shortlisted as best small museum in the Kids in Museums Awards 2023. Motorists and businesses in Swansea city centre are set to benefit from a new set of car park charges in its car parks. Swansea Council is launching its new 1-2-3-4-5 parking charges scheme on July 24. And will mean motorists parking in council-owned car parks in the city centre* will pay no more than £5 to park all day. RCT Cabinet has received an update on the process of creating a new special school for Rhondda Cynon Taf, to respond to current and projected capacity pressures. A statutory consultation was agreed to begin the next stage of the formal process. At their meeting on Wednesday, June 28, Cabinet Members considered a report which seeks formal approval to begin the required consultation with key stakeholders to establish a new 3-19 special school.
