SENIOR POLITICAL APPOINTMENTS have been confirmed by Neath Port Talbot Council at its Annual Meeting held at Port Talbot Civic Centre on Tuesday (June 7th, 2022). A new coalition to lead Neath Port Talbot Council was formally appointed following last month’s local elections when representatives from the Independent, Plaid Cymru and Dyffryn Independent groups made an agreement to share power. Wales qualified for their first World Cup in over 60 years after beating Ukraine 1-0 in a tense play-off final match on Sunday. The Red Dragons progressed after Gareth Bale’s first-half free-kick was deflected in by Ukraine defender Andriy Yarmolenko.
