GamCare charity has released an evaluation report of Women’s Programme training sessions and found that 85% of its latest round of participants improved their understanding of gambling harms. The evaluation report was produced by inFocus Consulting, and it detailed the programme’s work across its second year, delivering training to 918 organisations across the UK. The 85% of professionals was a 60% increase from year one. The University of South Wales (USW) is one of three partners given £267,954 to fund a project to look at how hydrogen derived from sewage can help cut environmental pollutants. The HyValue project is being led by Dwr Cymru Welsh Water, working in collaboration with USW and Costain, and has benefited from the funding from the £200m Ofwat Innovation Fund, which aims to support developments in the water sector.
