More people in Wales are starting a new business venture and seizing the economic and lifestyle changes that have been driven by the Covid-19 pandemic, Economy Minister Vaughan Gething revealed today as Global Entrepreneurship week gets underway. Tackling health inequalities and more help to help people quit are key parts of a new plan to make Wales smoke-free by the end of the decade. Deputy Minister for Wellbeing, Lynne Neagle has today (November 8th) launched the consultation for the long term tobacco control strategy, A Smoke-free Wales. It will be open until January 31st. A woman who is fighting a brain tumour for the second time is taking on the challenge of doing 100 star jumps a day in November while receiving chemotherapy. Charlotte Hobbs, 42, of Penarth in the Vale of Glamorgan, will complete 100 star jumps every day this month, in aid of Brain Tumour Research.
