The Rhydyfelin Community Group has created a cascading waterfall of poppies, flanked by the silhouettes representing the Fallen of the First and Second World Wars. The works have been created to mark Armistice Day 2021 and are proudly on display outside Rhydyfelin Community Centre. The silhouettes are the creation of retired labourer Michael Mottram. Cardiff and Vale University Health Board has announced some changes to parking and travel to improve access to its hospital sites for patients, visitors and staff. Enhancing access to hospital services for children with the help of technology is the aim of a pilot project in Swansea Bay. Virtual live consultations will be tested for referrals from primary care.
