Welsh Government has issued a warning that fake vaccine consent forms may be circulating in schools. The bogus forms have reportedly been sent to schools across the UK by anti-vaccine groups after it was announced that all children aged 12-15 would be offered their first dose by the end of the October half-term. Under an ‘NHS Vaccines’ logo, the form falsely claims that the vaccine is a risk for ‘strokes, blindness, deafness, clotting, miscarriages, anaphylaxis and cardiovascular disorders’. RCT Council is consulting residents on its plans for a new £12.5m Welsh Medium primary school in Rhydyfelin, to inform its final planning application – and will host a public event next week as part of the engagement exercise. A number of changes to electoral boundary arrangements in Cardiff will take place over the coming months, following a decision announced today by the Welsh Government Minister for Finance and Local Government. The changes seek to ensure that the ratio of local government electors to the number of councillors in a ward is, as nearly as may be, the same in each ward in the city. As 12 to 15-year-olds across Wales start to receive their Covid-19 vaccinations, the Health Minister today (4 October) confirmed they will all be offered a vaccine by the end of October half-term. All 12 to 15-year-olds will be invited by letter to have the vaccine and the majority being administered at mass vaccination centres. In some areas, vaccination will be carried out at schools.
