An innovative partnership between Cardiff Metropolitan University and The South Wales Police Youth Trust is delivering positive results in youth offending. Since its launch six months ago, Step into Sport has engaged 25 people between the ages of 11 and 18 in 140 hours of one-to-one physical activity sessions including mixed martial arts, boxing and CrossFit. The project has seen a 100 per cent success rate, with zero reported crime amongst these individuals. Building work is continuing apace at three new sites on Wrexham Industrial Estate as developer and asset management company, FI Real Estate Management (FIREM) makes progress in the creation of 38 acres of new build commercial space. A Love of art and nature are the inspiration behind the opening of Brook Cottage Shepherd Huts near Pwllheli.
