RCT Council will soon start work to deliver essential traffic light upgrades at the A4119’s junction with Talbot Road – having completed similar work to the two nearby accesses to Talbot Green Retail Park in previous years. Mary Immaculate High School in the west of Cardiff has purchased a number of Forever Flowers to feature in the central display of a garden of remembrance within the school grounds. A Cardiff woman who was helped by the NSPCC as a child has completed a fundraising challenge to help raise money for the children’s charity. Callie Cooper, 28 , set herself the challenge to complete the NSPCC’s Ride 30 challenge – cycling more than 500 kilometres in 30 days to help fund the charity’s prevention and child protection work. Callie chose to raise money for the NSPCC having contacted the charity as a young person. More than 300,000 tax credits customers have just over one week to renew their claims before the 31 July deadline, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has warned. As the deadline approaches, customers are being urged not to leave their renewal until the last minute and risk their payments being stopped.
