The economy of North Wales can look ahead to a stronger future, Minister for Economy Vaughan Gething said today on visit to the region. The Minister visited Airbus in Broughton and Toyota in Deeside.  Both companies are key employers in the region, and provide skilled job opportunities. A village school battling for survival has launched a campaign to safeguard its future by attracting pupils from nearby communities. Parents at Ysgol Llannefydd, near Denbigh, say it’s a “brilliant” Welsh language school that provides an excellent, well-rounded education that sets their children up well for the rest of their lives. Fifty jobs are up for grabs at a top bakery – with another 65 on the way. The fast-growing Jones Village Bakery is gearing up for the opening of its new super bakery on Wrexham Industrial Estate. The National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth is contributing to an exhibition which will see four historic play scripts in the Cornish language brought together under one roof for the first time this summer. The National Library has loaned The Life of St Meriadoc and The Life of St Kea to theexhibition, Mes a’n Kemmyn/Out of the Ordinary, at Kresen Kernow, a state-of-the-art archive centre in Redruth.
