Tesco closed its St Mellons superstore following a medical emergency earlier yesterday evening. The store was temporarily closed and emergency services attended yesterday after a customer became unwell. The store has since reopened this morning. In a customer announcement, a spokesperson for Tesco said that the store was suddenly closing and that it would not reopen for the remainder of the day: “Due to an incident in store we will not be reopening today. A social enterprise has announced ambitious plans to build nearly 350 carbon zero homes after clinching a five-year deal with the company that developed them. Creating Enterprise have signed a contract with Beattie Passive giving them exclusive rights to their pioneering Passivhaus build system in North Wales until 2025.
