South Wales Police serious collision investigation unit is continuing to appeal for witnesses following the fatal road traffic collision which happened at around 5.50am on Wednesday 27th May 2020 on the A48 Crack Hill, Brocastle. The incident involved a silver Jeep Cherokee and a bicycle heading towards Cardiff. A Bill to ban the use of wild animals in travelling circuses in Wales has been passed by the Senedd. The Bill was introduced just over a year ago, following consultation which saw thousands of members of the public make their views known. The Welsh Government has confirmed driving lessons will be able to take place in Wales from 27 July. Theory tests will restart on Monday 3 August, along with vocational, motorcycle, car and trailer tests, and tractor driving tests. Driving tests will start from Monday 17 August, as well as the restarting of driving instructor testing and standards checks. The family of a man who died after he is believed to have fallen from a moving vehicle in Grangetown have paid tribute to him.
