Welsh businesses are a step ahead of most of the UK when it comes to implementing digital changes that make their workplace better, according to a recent survey from KPMG UK. [aoa id=”1″] The survey, which questioned more than 1,000 UK employees about digital transformation, found that London based staff were most positive on the subject, with 78% saying that digital changes had made their workplace more efficient. A hard-hitting film aimed at protecting vulnerable children from becoming involved in the drugs trade is to be made by an award-winning TV director with £10,000 of cash confiscated from criminals in North Wales. The video intended for use in schools and across the community will be made by the charity the Colwyn Bay-based Centre for Sign Sight Sound (COSSS) in three languages – English, Welsh and Sign – and will use young actors from North Wales. Dan y Coed, a specialist school and residential service for children with complex needs associated with autism, has been officially opened by Swansea City Ambassadors Leon Britton and Lee Trundle.  The state-of-the-art residential facility has now been fully registered and welcomed parents, social workers and local authority commissioners to see the new multi-million-pound building.
