South Wales Police is investigating a road traffic collision, which occurred shortly after 10.45pm Saturday night (28th September 2019) outside the Civic Centre on Avenue De Clichy, Merthyr Tydfil. The incident involved a small black car which collided with an 18 year-old man who was crossing the road with a group of friends. The man was taken to Prince Charles Hospital where he is being treated to life-changing injuries. A 19 year-old man from Ebbw Vales has been arrested in connection with this incident and is currently at Merthyr Tydfil police station. Officers wish to thank members of the public…

There are ‘major gaps’ in official Brexit guidance for businesses in the event of an unwanted ‘no deal’ exit on 31st October, according to the South Wales Chamber of Commerce, following an evaluation by the British Chambers of Commerce. Christ College Brecon students visited Gordonstoun School in Moray, Scotland to attend a dialogue symposium inspired by communication used during the Brexit process. Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 saw Lower Sixth pupils, Amelie Gauger and Peter Price attend the sessions in listening and empathy and were joined by students from schools across Britain.
