Visitors to The Red Dragon Centre this half term can enjoy a range of displays, attractions, activities and learning opportunities to keep families entertained throughout half term and in the lead up to Halloween.

Displays include decorative pumpkins, spiders and ghosts, all made out of 100% Qualatex biodegradable balloons and created by Doctor Bob Balloons Unlimited.

The centre will also be transforming their Green Zone into a fang-tastic Spooky Zone including scary skeletons sprawling on the zone’s sofa and a pair of wicked witches complete with their cauldron which can be visited for free every day between 11am and 6pm.

From Tuesday 29 to Thursday 31 October The Red Dragon Centre are partnering with The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales to host free lantern making workshops for children, made possible by generous support from players of The Peoples Postcode Lottery. The Trust will be providing leaf identification and how to make lanterns out of recycled glass jars and leaves as well as giving participants the option to make them Halloween themed with bat silhouettes. The workshops will be held between 12-4pm each day in the main concourse area at The Red Dragon Centre.

As well as activities for children, free sessions for adults, teaching how best gardens can be prepared for winter and how to make them more wildlife friendly, are also available.

This half term the centre boasts plenty of activities for the whole family to get in the Halloween spirit, alongside the centres many restaurants and attractions for family days out. Customers can also benefit from 6 hours of free parking at the centre.
