Simon Winstone, 50, has been jailed for life for the murder of his partner Michelle Denise Rosser. She was found dead at the home they shared in Bedlinog on 29th May, 2018. Winstone claimed that he found her at the bottom of the stairs and denied murdering Denise. But evidence from a pathologist showed that Denise Rosser’s injuries were consistent with being beaten and Simon Winstone was charged with her murder. Cardiff’s popular bike share scheme is set to double next year with an additional 500 bikes, operator nextbike has confirmed. People living with dementia are spending an average of a month in hospital in Wales in their last year of life following emergency admission, a terminal illness charity has found. Data collected by Marie Curie revealed there were over 51,000 emergency admissions for people with any terminal condition in the last year of their life in Wales in 2016 – with further analysis revealing differences among patients with cancer or non-cancer diagnosis, and stark differences in particular for dementia patients.
