Some of Cardiff’s most vulnerable homeless people are set for an “unforgettable” Christmas thanks to 12 of the city’s leading law firms. Rough sleepers who are supported by Cardiff-based homelessness charity the Huggard Centre will benefit from a newly launched charitable initiative from expert legal firm CJCH Solicitors this December. Global real estate advisor Knight Frank has been selected by Floreat Real Estate to manage two trophy buildings in the South West and South Wales totalling more than 200,000 sq ft. Floreat has appointed Knight Frank to manage Churchill House, one of Cardiff’s prominent office buildings comprising 87,000 sq ft of workspace and ancillary retail space. Knight Frank will also manage Castlemead, Bristol’s tallest office building located in the heart of the city centre. A bakery worker raised more than £3,000 for an air ambulance charity in memory of her dad by taking part in a punishing 50-mile fell run. Florence Roberts, 26, who works at the Village Bakery in Wrexham, completed the Long Mynd Hike, in just over 12 hours, most of the time in total darkness. The race included 8,000ft of climbing, covering eight summits in Shropshire and Florence or Floss, as she’s known, described it as the “single hardest thing” that she has ever done. Part of Anglesey Ward, which cares for respiratory patients, has been converted into a Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) Unit.
