Researchers at Aberystwyth University are asking farmers for their views on how rural crime is being tackled in the Dyfed-Powys Police area. It has been announced that Cardiff Central Station is to receive £58m in funding from the UK Government as part of plans to overhaul Wales’ busiest station. Pupils from one of Wales’ leading independent schools are combatting dementia in their local community, supporting people with dementia at a local care home each week. A class of 10- and 11-year olds from St. Nicholas House at Christ College Brecon decided to learn more about dementia and its effects so they could help their local community. Momodoulamin Saine has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning (Tuesday, July 23). Officers were called at approximately 4.50am yesterday (Sunday, July 21) to St Mary Street following reports of an assault. Mr Khan, 21, was treated by emergency services at the scene and then taken to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, where he died from his injuries.
