Residential Property Solicitor Abbi Williams and Chartered Legal Executive Alexis Thomas join the Blackwood team as CJCH acts on its responsibility to meet the needs of the local community.

Abbi joins from Watkins and Gunn Solicitors with a wealth of experience in Residential Property Law, having also worked at Devonalds Solicitors and Hugh James Solicitors.

Abbi deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing including sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages of both freehold and leasehold properties.

Alexis joins the private client team from Penguin Legal with in-depth knowledge of wills, lasting power of attorney and probate, estate administration and oaths.

The appointments have come as CJCH expands the services of its Blackwood office with Mental Health and Court of Protection teams, and Wills and Probate now offered.

The well-established Blackwood office, which was integrated into CJCH Solicitors in 2017 when the firm took over Howard Patchell and Co, will benefit from the addition of the two new and experienced solicitors, as well as a new trainee solicitor, taking the team to 13 members.

CJCH Managing Partner, Tim Hartland, said: “We are thrilled to welcome both Abbi and Alexis to the CJCH team. They join a strong existing team and their expertise and experience will undoubtedly be invaluable to our Blackwood Office as we look to expand our offering to the local community.”

On her appointment, Abbi said: “I am so pleased to have joined CJCH at such a progressive and exciting time for the firm and to be a part of the service expansion at Blackwood.”

Alexis adds: “Joining a leading firm at a time of huge growth is a very exciting prospect. The firm has taken a close look at the needs of the Blackwood community and I am looking forward to being a part of the service expansion.”
