Wales’ leading first aid charity, St John Cymru is delighted to announce the launch of its newest training course; Mental Health First Aid. The five firefighters, who hail from Stations right across the South Wales area, committed to an intense training schedule in preparation for the annual Challenge at Morton in the Marsh, Fire Service College. This weekend they were awarded with a superb 8th (for BA) position out of 24 competing teams and Bronze Award for overall team. Cardiff Bus customers are being offered travel advice due to road closures for the Wales vs Spain football match this week. The bus operator is advising customers of route alterations and bus stop changes on Thursday night as the Welsh national side take on Spain at the Principality Stadium. A football initiative which is improving the mental health of people living in Wales is to be expanded, thanks to a funding boost from UEFA. The announcement was made today by the FAW Trust, during Mental Health Week.
