While the public’s image of a typical landlord might be a money-grabbing property professional, the reality is different in Wales. The Maternity Team from Cardiff and Vale University Health Board have been shortlisted in the Nursing Times 2018 Awards for their work in lowering caesarean section infection rates. A new Assessment Unit for emergency patients at Velindre Cancer Centre in Whitchurch, Cardiff will be officially opened on 12 September with help from Macmillan Cancer Support. A group of artistic care home residents have created a spectacular display of hundreds of forget-me-nots to remember the soldiers who perished in the First World War.
