The Farmers’ Union of Wales has expressed concern that the level of bovine TB in Wales has risen over the last 12 months, despite the introduction of further cattle control measures in October last year. Aberystwyth University has been awarded five new fellowships under the Rutherford Fund Strategic Partner Grants scheme administered by Universities UK International (UUKi). Rydal Penrhos School is delighted to reveal a record-breaking set of A-level results. As results were announced nationwide on Thursday, August 16, the Upper Sixth Form pupils secured 45.1% A*-A grades, which is the highest in the School’s history by some margin since the introduction of the A* grade.
