Aberystwyth University has been awarded five new fellowships under the Rutherford Fund Strategic Partner Grants scheme administered by Universities UK International (UUKi). The short-term fellowships are funded by the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS)through the Rutherford Fund, with the aim of attracting global talent and strengthening the UK’s research base. Aberystwyth is one of only 19 universities in the UK to be selected for the prestigious research fellowships. Rydal Penrhos School is delighted to reveal a record-breaking set of A-level results. As results were announced nationwide on Thursday, August 16, the Upper Sixth Form pupils secured 45.1% A*-A grades, which is the highest in the School’s history by some margin since the introduction of the A* grade.
