Swansea people are to give their views on how nature can improve their city. Their thoughts will be gathered by a consultation exercise this month. They will help to inform a new strategy being developed by Natural Resources Wales (NRW), Swansea Council and the Green Infrastructure Consultancy. The strategy will promote a joined-up approach to green infrastructure in future city centre regeneration work. The Derwen Arms is a local like any other, serving beers and refreshments and with its own pool table and dart board. Cardiff Community Housing Association (CCHA) has launched its Flourish project, which has received a National Lottery Community Fund grant to help working families improve their finances and quality of life. CCHA received over £470,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund as part of their £6 million programme which looks to support projects that help families who are struggling financially, but have at least one adult working, to reduce the impact of in-work poverty. World Book Day 2019 (March 7) will soon be upon us and as part of the celebrations, the Welsh Books Council has announced the titles of two special books for children that have been published in Welsh and will be on sale for only £1. The latest NatWest Wales PMI® data signalled a faster expansion in business activity across Wales in January.
