Swansea Council’s £12m programme to transform city centre is back underway this week. The Kingsway was cleared of construction activity to help shoppers and traders during the Christmas period. A family-run business is gearing up for the opening of their second bakery with the creation of 20 new jobs in Denbigh in the New Year. In anticipation of the possible future demolition of the St David’s Hotel in Harlech the Snowdonia National Park Authority has appointed a contractor to construct a bat barn to re-home the colony of bats that reside in the derelict hotel.
