A £20 million investment in schools will create inclusive learning environments such as quiet or sensory areas, upgrade facilities to improve accessibility, and enable schools and other settings to purchase new equipment. Swansea Building Society has expanded its commitment to environmental sustainability by planting over 800 native trees and shrubs at Penllergare Valley Woods estate over two days – Monday, March 10, and Thursday, March 13, 2025. A team of 28 Swansea Building Society staff members took part in the initiative over the two days, which also included the clearance of invasive non-native plant species such as rhododendron and laurel.
