A LLANGOLLEN woman is the latest member of the team at the Welsh cancer research charity – Cancer Research Wales. Nicole Quirk has been appointed as the independent charity’s fundraising manager for North Wales. In her new role, Nicole is responsible for helping local organisations such as businesses, schools, sports clubs and individuals to support Cancer Research Wales by fundraising. Swansea University will be the first stop in Wales on a nationwide tour commemorating 200 years of braille, helping to highlight how this tactile system of raised dots empowers people with sight loss.
