A man has died in hospital following an assault in Cathays, Cardiff, police have confirmed. Officers were called to a report of an assault on Pentyrch Street at around 6.15pm on Monday, December 22. The victim has been named as Colm Marcus Boston, aged 37, from Heath. He died on Thursday, December 26, at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was left in a critical condition following an incident in Cathays. South Wales Police said officers were called to Pentyrch Street on Monday, December 22, following reports of an assault. The victim, a 37 year old man, was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition. Two people have been convicted of the murder of Kamran Aman in Barry. Police were called to a report of stabbing in Barry Road just before midnight on Monday, June 30. Father-of-one Kamran died, and a murder investigation was launched. Two males, aged 16 and 17, from Llantwit Major, were arrested nearby within minutes of a 999 call being made to South Wales Police.
