South Wales Police has issued an appeal to help locate a teenage boy who has been reported missing from Tonypandy. Xavier was last seen at around 9.30am on Monday, March 16 in the Tonypandy area. He is described as having long hair, which he sometimes wears in a ponytail. When he was last seen, he was wearing khaki green shorts and a black hoodie with a white dove on it. Drivers across South Wales are facing delays this afternoon following an accident on the M4 and heavy congestion on several major routes around Cardiff. Traffic Wales has reported an incident on the M4 eastbound between junction 25 at Caerleon and junction 24 at Coldra, where a lane has been closed following a crash. Delays are possible while the incident is dealt with. Motorists travelling through the area are being urged to allow extra time for their journeys. Rail passengers across South Wales are encouraged to plan ahead as essential track work takes place between Newport, Cardiff and the Valleys between Friday 20 to Sunday 22 March. The work taking place will see Network Rail engineers replacing sections of the track on the South Wales Mainline between Newport and Cardiff Central throughout the weekend, with Transport for Wales (TfW) engineers carrying out further work near Cardiff Queen Street on the Sunday. The force received a live chat message at around 8.30pm on Sunday, March 15, which contained threats to harm people at Llanishen High School and Eastern High School. Police said the information suggested that an individual intended to attend the schools while in possession of weapons.
