Staff and volunteers at the UK’s leading end of life charity raised more than £2,000 when they took part in a 40-hour bikeathon to celebrate the charity’s flagship fundraiser. Road users in Newport are being warned of disruption next month as resurfacing works are carried out on key sections of Malpas Road. Newport City Council has confirmed it will begin improvements in May, with works taking place across multiple dates and locations along the busy route.
