Dyfed-Powys Police has released a digitised image of a man whose body was found in a reservoir in October 2024 as efforts continue to identify him. The force has worked with Face Lab at Liverpool John Moores University to produce a realistic image of the man’s face following nearly 16 months of enquiries to establish who he is. Cardiff Council has set out proposals to develop a new ‘green’ crematorium, designed to dramatically reduce carbon emissions while safeguarding high‑quality, affordable bereavement services for residents. Councillors in Blaenau Gwent and Torfaen have backed a proposal for a Joint Local Development Plan. Local Development Plans are developed by local authorities to guide future developments, land use and infrastructure requirements over a 15-year period. Both councils are currently in the process of developing Replacement Local Development Plans, which have faced delays.
