The impressive grade II listed Salem Chapel on Garth Terrace, in the village of Bedlinog, near Treharris, in Mid Glamorgan, sold for £26,500 after being listed with a guide price of £20,000. A woman has been charged with murder following the death of a child in Gendros, Swansea, this week. Six-year-old Alexander Zurawski passed away at a property on Cwm Du Close on Thursday August 29. 41-year-old Karolina Zurawska, from Gendros, has been charged with murder in connection with Alexander’s death. She has also been charged with attempted murder in connection with an incident involving a 67-year-old man earlier on the same date. A 21-year-old man has been jailed after a violent street attack in Wrexham. The victim, who was knocked to the floor unconscious with a single punch, was taken to Stoke Hospital with a brain injury. He had to undergo surgery later that day to help manage a bleed on the brain. Brandon Morris, of Kingsway, Chester, admitted maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm and appeared at Mold Crown Court today (August 29) for sentence. He was jailed for 16 months. An additional 14 bus services will run from the new Cardiff Bus Interchange from Sunday 1 September. Cardiff Bus will introduce more services to travel to other parts of the city, while Newport bus will be joining Cardiff Bus and Stagecoach in running services from the recently opened interchange. The additional services will more than double the number of destinations available at the interchange, as well as increasing the number of buses coming into the interchange from 1,830 a week to 3,476 a week.
