WeMindTheGap has received additional funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund to extend its WeDiscover, WeGrow and WeBelong provision from January onwards. South Wales Police is continuing to investigate a serious sexual assault in Cardiff city centre which occurred one month ago this weekend. They are now appealing for the public’s help in identifying four possible witnesses seen here on CCTV. Businesses and workers whose jobs and livelihoods have been affected by the recent fire which destroyed a large warehouse and damaged several neighbouring premises on Bridgend Industrial Estate are receiving a range of support from Bridgend County Borough Council. A total of 42 businesses were affected by the blaze, which destroyed and damaged some premises and affected the power supply to others. A well-being nature walk linking historic churches, a flower market and schemes to help cut rural Swansea’s carbon footprint are among those soon to benefit from a major funding boost. Swansea Council has now awarded funding worth a combined £178,000 to 14 schemes under the second round of the overall rural anchor project being funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
