A new initiative to provide companies in North Wales with a wide range of business services has launched.

Go For Growth has been developed by Gamlins Law and brings together 20 businesses and organisations.

Among the launch partners are accountants Salisbury’s and Grant Thornton, financial advisers Innes Reid and Sanlam, commercial insurer Daulby Read, health and safety specialist SHEQ, PR and marketing firm Mason Media and recruiter JVP Group.

Go For Growth was officially launched at 1891 restaurant in Rhyl. Gamlins Law has its head office in the town.

Ron Davison, Managing Director of Gamlins Law, said: “We have had fantastic feedback about our Go For Growth initiative and it is already creating some exciting business opportunities for our partners.

“We have 20 launch partners covering a wide range of business support services and we expect to bring on further complementary partners in the coming months.

“Go For Growth enables businesses to tap into business services they know they require now, but also to get them thinking about other services they might require as their business continues to grow.”

Aled Roberts, a director of Salisbury’s Accountants, said: “We are thrilled to be a partner of Gamlins Law’s Go For Growth project.

“We see the initiative as adding real value to our clients, helping them achieve their business goals.”

Other services available under Go For Growth include HR, strategic IT consultancy, leadership resilience training, capital allowances and research and development tax credits, cloud technology and business savings.

The launch event was also attended by the Development Bank of Wales, Business Wales’ Accelerated Growth Programme and Barclays Bank.

Go For Growth complements Gamlins Law’s business legal services which include employment law, commercial contracts, commercial property, litigation, corporate transactions and regulatory law.

The firm, which has six offices across North Wales, celebrates its 130th anniversary this year.
