Multiply is a new programme, designed by the UK Government, to help transform the lives of adults across the UK, by improving their functional numeracy skills and has launched in Caerphilly County Borough Council!

The Multiply programme had a very successful launch event at Idris Davies School, in partnership with Community Focused Schools, where a number of organisations including Careers Wales, Families First, Caerphilly Cares and Communities First were in attendance.

As well as various stalls, visitors could take part in fun activities, see educational displays and enjoy the entertainment provided.

Cllr. Carol Andrews, Cabinet Member for Education & Communities, who attended the event said “It was wonderful to see such a great turnout for the Multiply launch at Idris Davies School. I am very passionate about adult education and this programme will be a huge asset to the Adult Community Learning service. I’m so pleased the event was such a success and I’m excited to see what the future holds for Multiply in Caerphilly!”

So if the thought of doing maths at home or work makes you feel anxious, Multiply can help!

Multiply will be there to help you to upskill your numeracy, whether you want to help your children with their homework, manage your finances or access new job opportunities.
