A man has been jailed after entering a home and stealing a car, following a South Wales Police investigation.
Callum Tannetta, aged 25, from Adamsdown pleaded guilty to burglary and theft of a motor vehicle when he first appeared at Cardiff Crown Court on Friday October 17 and was sentenced at the same court this week (November 12) to three years in prison.
The investigation found that on February 25, 2025, Tannetta entered the home and took two games consoles, a computer and stole a car. Following the burglary, officers were called, and Tannetta was identified after forensic evidence linked him to the scene.
Detective Constable Evans said:“We welcome the length of sentence for Tannetta following his burglary earlier this year.
“To know that strangers have entered your home will be extremely distressing for anyone.
“We worked tirelessly to ensure the best possible outcome, and we hope the victims can feel some comfort now that justice has been served.”
