One year after opening, popular Lakeside brunch spot Park Side Kitchen is expanding its offering with a brand-new evening menu.

Known for its refined all-day brunch, Park Side is now extending its kitchen hours into the evening with a concise, flavour-forward dinner menu designed to match the venue’s laid-back yet elevated style.

Available every Friday and Saturday from 5pm to 8:30pm, the new dinner service brings a bold and creative take on casual evening dining to one of Cardiff’s most popular venues outside the city centre.

    The Dinner Menu

Guests can expect elevated comfort classics like flank steak with bone marrow chimichurri and house fries, crab & lobster brioche rolls, and a gourmet chicken Caesar burger. Vegetarian diners are well catered for too, with vibrant options like the grilled halloumi burger with watermelon & red pepper relish, or a summer-ready panzanella salad with spiced feta. Sides like fired sweetcorn with spiced butter & burnt onion, house parmesan fries, and chilli chocolate-glazed chicken wings round out the offering.

The dinner experience is capped off with a concise dessert menu, featuring indulgent favourites like tiramisu with coffee syrup, Eton mess with berries, and doughnuts with orange crème. Those wanting to linger can enjoy a post-dinner tipple, like the expertly crafted Espresso Martini, blending double espresso with Tia Maria, vanilla, and vodka.

Sophie Pascoe, Park Side’s co-founder, said: “We’ve always wanted to expand our offering to more than just great brunch – but waited until we were fully in our stride. The new evening menu is a natural extension of our ethos; thoughtful food, welcoming vibes, and a place people genuinely want to hang out, day or night.”

With a cosy interior, 40-seat heated terrace, and a menu designed for easy enjoyment, Park Side has cemented itself as a key player in Cardiff’s neighbourhood dining scene.
