The family of the man who died following a road traffic collision on the A55 at Bodelwyddan last week have paid tribute to him.

David Emrys ‘Junior’ Williams was 35-years-old and came from the Llandudno Junction area.

His family have paid the following tribute to him:

“David was the beloved son of Sharon and David, Brother to Gemma and James, beloved Father to Harry, Henry and Hayden and former partner of Jenny.

“Words cannot describe how devastated we are, and your family and friends will miss you dearly.”

The investigation to establish the cause of the collision is underway and officers continue to appeal for witnesses to the collision which happened during the early hours of Tuesday, April 15th on the westbound carriageway of the A55 near to Kinmel Services.

A 62-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident, and he has since been released under investigation whilst enquiries are ongoing.

Anybody with information regarding the collision, or anybody who was travelling along the A55 between 04:50 and 05:10 on the westbound carriageway between St Asaph and Abergele and who has dash cam footage, is asked to contact officers quoting reference number 25000307865.
