Flotek Group, a UK managed technology partner delivering IT, cyber security and communications, has acquired Hampshire-based FlexiNet.
The acquisition strengthens Flotek’s regional presence across the South of England, creating a closer, joined-up relationship for FlexiNet’s existing partner base and opening the door to a broader managed service offering across Hampshire, the surrounding region, and into London.
As part of the acquisition, FlexiNet will rebrand as part of Flotek Group, with the team continuing to operate from its Andover office, which will be retained as a regional base.
The acquisition marks Flotek’s 15th since its inception in 2022, with FlexiNet now in the process of full integration into the Flotek Group.
By bringing FlexiNet into the Group, Flotek will build on FlexiNet’s established communications capability to provide partners with the option to consolidate telecoms, managed IT, and cyber security under one provider – simplifying day-to-day support, strengthening resilience, and improving service continuity.
Full integration is targeted within the next three months, with a phased approach designed to maintain continuity and avoid disruption for partners.
Key members of the FlexiNet leadership team will remain with the business through the transition and beyond. Craig Barker will continue in a senior partner-facing role as Account Director, while Ryan Mariner will remain in a senior leadership position as Senior Delivery Comms Engineer.
Director, Anne-Marie Mariner will support the integration process, helping ensure a smooth transition for partners and the wider team.
FlexiNet received investment from the Flotek Group in January 2023, and the teams have since been working closely together whilst offering the Flotek portfolio of products.
Jay Ball, Chief Executive Officer, Flotek Group, said:
“FlexiNet has built a strong reputation in Hampshire by being responsive, reliable, and close to its partners. Bringing the business fully into Flotek is about building a tighter relationship and expanding what those partners can access through one team.
As a managed service provider, our goal is simple: make technology easier to run, safer to rely on, and better aligned to how people actually work. This acquisition helps us do that at a bigger scale across the South of England, including London.
For FlexiNet partners, it creates the option to bring telecoms, managed IT and cyber security together under one provider, without losing the local service and familiar faces they value.”
Ryan Mariner, Senior Delivery Comms Engineer, FlexiNet, said:
“Our partners have always valued a service that feels personal and proactive – dealing with a team who know their setup and get things sorted quickly and without fuss. This next step allows this great service to remain the same.
Joining Flotek Group strengthens what we can offer our partners around that day-to-day support, particularly across managed IT and cyber security, while keeping the local approach and retaining the Andover team at the heart of what we do.
It’s an exciting step for our partners, because it gives them a clearer route to having one provider that can support the full picture – seamlessly connecting their technology requirements.”
Craig Barker, Account Director, FlexiNet, said:
“The most important thing for our partners is continuity: quick response, clear communication, and trust that we’ll own issues end to end. This move is designed to protect that and strengthen it.
With Flotek behind us, we can offer more depth across managed IT and cyber security alongside our existing communications services, and introduce new capabilities in a phased, sensible way.
I’m looking forward to continuing to support our partners and helping them get even more value from a joined-up service.”
