For the first time in 2021, Fridays is excited to confirm that fans will be able to get that Fridays Feeling all day, every day, when its Cardiff Newport Road, Cardiff St David’s and its Swansea restaurant, reopens for indoor dining, from Monday 17th May.

To celebrate the long-awaited reopening, guests who download the Fridays app for the first time before dining will be treated to a delicious FREE dessert. This means you can finish your meal the Fridays way with fan favourites such as a S’mores Sundae – layers of real dairy ice cream with crunchy Biscoff® biscuit pieces, crumbled chocolate Flake and a caramelised Biscoff® sauce with a toasted mallow topping. More of a chocolate lover? We’ve got you covered with our Chocolate Fudge Fixation – a triple layered chocolate cake with a chocolate and fudge filling served warm with real dairy ice cream. If you prefer something fruity then our Fresh Fruit and Orange Sorbet Sundae has your name on it!

Fridays is also making up for lost time and extending its birthday cocktail offer through its rewards app to help those in Cardiff who would normally have visited to toast their birthday in style. Existing app users who have had a birthday in the last six months (since 1st December 2020) will be able to redeem their birthday cocktail for themselves and up to five friends from 17th May to celebrate in true Fridays style*.

Alongside iconic dishes such as Fridays Sesame Chicken Strips tossed in Legendary Glaze and the addition of new Fridays American Pilsner, an easy-drinking, 4% session lager to the menu, guests will be welcomed back by Fridays famous stripes. In celebration of its 35th anniversary in the UK this year, Fridays has relaunched the famous red & white striped uniform. The iconic eco-friendly polo shirts, made entirely from recycled plastic bottles, will be seen on team members at Fridays restaurants across the country.

Mark Jones, Fridays Regional Director of Operations for the Central regions, says: “It’s been a long time coming, but we’re thrilled to be opening up our famous Fridays doors and welcoming back guests for indoor dining. We’re making sure everyone can celebrate the Fridays way by extending our free birthday cocktail offer to those who missed out on drinks with friends during lockdown. We can’t wait for guests to have that Fridays Feeling in Cardiff Newport Road again.”

For more details regarding how to download the Fridays app, the health and safety measures in place, to pre-book, menus, to find out which Fridays restaurants are already open for outdoor dining and the full list of Fridays locations opening for indoor dining on May 17th, please visit the Fridays website – www.tgifridays.co.uk.
