Zip World is turning up the fear factor this Halloween with the return of two of its most spine-chilling events – Ffear Fforest in Betws-y-Coed and Monsters of the Mine in Aberdare. Running until 2nd November, both attractions promise an unforgettable night of adrenaline, screams, and eerie fun.
Ffear Fforest – Betws-y-Coed (until 2nd November)
Back for another year of chaos, Ffear Fforest is one of North Wales’ most popular Halloween nights out. Set deep in the woods at Zip World Fforest, the experience features the Cursed Coaster, The Nets, and a brand-new Paintball Range, with creepy clowns and sinister surprises lurking around every corner.
Night passes start from £22 per person, giving guests two rides on the Cursed Coaster and unlimited access to The Nets. Additional experiences like Nightfall, Screamride, and the Paintball Range can be booked separately.
Highlights include:
-
Cursed Coaster – The UK’s only alpine coaster of its kind. Race 700m through pitch-black forest at speeds of up to 25mph, guided only by the eerie glow of your headlamp.
-
The Nets – Suspended high in the trees, this chaotic zone lets you hide from clowns, bounce through the darkness, and watch the pandemonium unfold.
Ffear Fforest runs until Sunday 2nd November 2025, from 7.30pm to 10.30pm, and is suitable for ages 9 and up.
