    Have your say: Bow Street Travel Interchange Consultation

    The Welsh Government has been awarded funding by the UK Department for Transport to build a new public transport interchange at Bow Street. The proposal includes the re-opening of Bow Street railway station and will comprise of a car park, cycling facilities, pedestrian links and bus stops. The project will be delivered by Transport for Wales.

    Ceredigion County Council wishes to receive feedback from individuals and organisations that represent people within the protected characteristic groups in regards to accessibility and have prepared plans to show the current proposals.

    Cabinet Member for Carbon Management, Sustainability and Transport for Ceredigion County Council, Councillor Alun Williams said,

    “With the proposed plans for the Bow Street Travel Interchange out for consultation until 13 May, it’s very important that the new development is fully accessible to everyone, particularly people with disabilities. The consultation is aimed at providing information to the public and provides an opportunity for everyone to respond to ensure this exciting new development for the area can work for everybody. Take a look at the consultation and share your views.”

    The prepared plans can be viewed on the Council’s website Consultations page. Responses to the consultation can be made by emailing [email protected]. By request, the consultation can be viewed in a different format. To request a copy of the consultation, phone 01545 570 881. The Consultation runs until 13 May 2018.
