Hazlewoods, a leading accountancy and business advisory firm, has strengthened its Forensic team with two senior appointments, reinforcing its reputation for excellence in the sector.
Chrissy Wilkinson joins Hazlewoods as Partner, with almost 20 years audit and advisory experience. Having spent more than 14 years in Grant Thornton’s Forensic team, she has developed extensive expertise as an expert witness, adviser and determiner of disputed accounting issues.
Chrissy specialises in post-sale and purchase (SPA) dispute resolution and has worked on a wide range of post-deal matters, including completion accounts, earn-outs and other deferred consideration, breach of warranty, warranty and indemnity claims, and fraudulent misrepresentation.
Speaking on her appointment, Chrissy said: “I’m delighted to have joined Hazlewoods Forensic team. The business has a strong national reputation across a range of transactional activity and I look forward to using my expertise to help develop its dispute resolution and expert determination offerings for clients across the UK.”
    Charlotte Okninski
Charlotte Okninski has joined the Forensic team as Director, bringing a wealth of experience from her previous roles at BDO, where she spent more than six years, and Grant Thornton, where she worked for more than 11 years.
Charlotte brings considerable experience of expert witness matters and specialises in valuations for litigation and alternative dispute resolution.  She has successfully supported clients in complex shareholder, matrimonial, and post-transaction disputes across diverse sectors.  Beyond contentious matters, Charlotte also provides valuation services for financial reporting purposes, helping businesses meet compliance requirements with confidence and precision.
Charlotte said: “Hazlewoods is highly regarded, and I’m delighted to join such an experienced and successful Forensic team. I look forward to helping further cement the firm’s forensic capabilities, ensuring we’re ideally placed to deliver clear, practical advice for our clients.”
Ruth Dooley, Partner and Head of Forensic Services at Hazlewoods, said: “Chrissy and Charlotte bring exceptional talent and experience to our forensics team, further enhancing our ability to support clients with the highest level of technical and investigative expertise.”
