Leading financial planning firm relocates following year-on-year growth

One of the UK’s top 100 financial planning firms has moved its headquarters following year-on-year growth, a trend it says it is expecting to continue.

Originally based in Cedar Court in Newport, Gould Financial Planning has now taken over 1,500 sq ft of the recently renovated Quest House in St Mellons, Cardiff.

The company which was established in 2001 has seen remarkable growth in the last three years, increasing turnover by almost 40%, profit by 30% and growing its team to over 16.

Managing Director of Gould Financial Planning, Mark Redman said: “As our client base has grown so too has our staff and so we felt the time was right to find larger accommodation. Not only have we gained new clients year on year, but we have a fantastic reputation for retaining clients long-term, so we knew we needed modern offices with space for further expansion. We couldn’t be happier with the new offices, its vibrancy compliments our company perfectly, and the garden meeting pod has certainly gone down well.

“We are proud of our achievements over the past few years and are pleased to say we expect to continue this level of growth into 2020 and beyond.”

Property Director of WCR Property, Mike Wallace said: “We’re delighted to welcome Mark and his team to Quest House. When modernising the building, we knew we wanted it to have a sense of energy to appeal to businesses so we’re glad that that has been picked up by our occupants.

“We’ve already secured occupancy for over 70% of the ground floor of the building and in order to deal with the increasing demand for smaller office space, we are creating seven new suites. We also expect demand to greatly increase as the Parkway train station develops, especially as it’s going to mean occupants will be just a two-minute walk away from a station with trains to London arriving every ten minutes.”
